Story

Australia, 2315. A big city is humming with neon dreams and secrets. Vela Lim, a woman in her mid-twenties, races through the bustling cityscape in a Dronzey, her thoughts tangled with the murmurs of her nanobots. These constant whispers hint at a past Vela doesn't remember. In just 3 weeks' time, she will be aboard the starship, The Zealous Pursuit, bound for Arcturus. Tonight, though, fun awaits at The Green Mist Bar (a haven for outcasts where retro vibes meet futuristic flair).

Egged on by her friend, Gabby, Vela jumps on The Dominator; a holographic protest machine set up for patrons to "Defy the A.I.". All hell breaks loose when Vela sets the (augmented) world alight, cheered on by the delirious drinkers in the bar. Unknown to Vela, her actions trigger the Domination Protocol, sowing an unknowable seed inside her.

The Dream of Arcturus is a space opera-meets-fantasy epic in which technology meets magic, spanning Earth in the year 2315 to the furthest reaches of the (now) sentient star, Arcturus.
